This work is a tribute to all those mothers who gave their all, their lives, toiling away for the rest of the family, doing such arduous tasks as washing clothes in the river, back when washing machines didn't exist. This act was more than just domestic chores; it was also a moment of social interaction among the women of the village, a time to take an interest in the lives and families of their neighbors and friends, to catch up on the latest events, to help each other with the laundry, and, in a way, to disconnect from other problems and worries.
