Terracotta Kali (Hindu Goddess) Idol. Avishek Nag Avishek Nag

Llustration of Terracotta Kali (Hindu Goddess) Idol- made with Staedtler Black Pencil.

«Terracotta works» are forms of sculpture (made of fired clay) popular in the eastern region of India, especially in Bengal, where solid rocks aren't available that much. Traces of these works were even found in the 8th century.

Current work is in reference to the terracotta Kali (Hindu Goddess) idol found in the BaraNagar area, Murshidabad, West Bengal, India.
