The Lamborghini Countach was first presented at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show and fascinated the world with its radical and visionary shapes.
The first specimen destined to reveal the mythical «Miura» and compete with the no less famous Ferrari Daytona, saw the light in 1974. Later versions of the «Countach» took Lamborghini up to the version of 1985: the lp 5000 Quatrovalvole (qv) a model with 455 hp (420 in injection version), and that in 1988 Horacio Pagani carried out an aesthetic update known as Countach 25 Anniversary. This model (the one in the drawing) was capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 in less than 5 seconds and reaching a maximum speed of 298 km / H.
In 1990 it would cease to be produced to make way for the no less spectacular Lamborghini Diablo.
Thirty years later Lamborghini, aware of the legend that the Countach had, has resurrected it with the Countach lp 800-4 model, a light hybrid of nothing more nor less than 780 hp.
