The volcanic eruption of La Palma in 2021 began at 2:13 P. M. On September 19 in the area of Cabeza de Vaca, near the town of El Paraíso in the municipality of El Paso, on the Spanish island of La Palma. As of November 2.100% active mowing, so far, 987.9 hectares of land have been covered by lava and 2.613 buildings have been destroyed, 39 in the last day. Although fortunately there are no victims, the number of displaced people who have already been left with nothing is counted in the thousands. Precisely the purpose of putting this work up for sale is to help these people, so half of the sale amount in art prints produced from this work will go to help one of the affected municipalities: Los LLanos, Tazacorte and El Paso.
The name of Jedey is the one that is being proposed to designate this volcano of Cumbre Vieja, a Guanche name corresponding to a former chief of the tribe.
