The name «Mojave» is the local name for the High Desert of California, closely related to the name of the indigenous tribe that historically populated it. The golden name that I added is evidently because of the color of its sands under the extreme sun of the «Valley of Death», an indescribable and inimitable place. Canyons sculpted by the water, ancient lava courses, giant sand dunes and forests of Josué trees make up an environment that coexists with extreme temperatures of absolute record such as those registered last summer with 54.4ºc.
